"You say you want a revolution, Well, you know, We all want to change the world."
One of my favorite Beatles songs is "Revolution". It was released several times in different versions on various albums. The faster version was released as the B-Side of the album "Hey Jude" in 1970.
Emulating the spirit of "Revolution" today, I've also chosen to wear my vibrant red lipstick. I've recently learned that during WWII the women of our military were issued Elizabeth Arden's "Montezuma Red" lipstick to wear. The reason they wore it was out of defiance against Hitler and his Nazi regime. Word got around that Hitler hated a woman in rouge, so naturally, American women flocked to it! Elizabeth Arden created “Victory Red” for the general population so that all women could show their patriotism.
As you go about your day today, keep in mind the rest of the lyrics behind the song we all love to sing the chorus to:
"You say you'll change the constitution Well, you know We all want to change your head You tell me it's the institution Well, you know You better free you mind instead"
